An environmentalist by training, my art practice started around 8 years ago. I had my first solo show of paintings (acrylic on canvas) in 2014. Taking from my painting techniques and effects I have since been exploring print-making processes to capture varied textures and tones on handmade and recycled paper.

Bringing my passion for art and ecology together, I began reusing paper I collected from my daily life and consumption along with found materials I gathered while walking through natural and man-made environments.

The resultant work is a series of monoprints, using techniques like frottage and collagraphy to make impressions of these materials in an organic and spontaneous manner. These were shown in two shows held in Mumbai and New Delhi in 2017-18.
